In the midst of the raw nature and adventure offered by the surroundings of the retreat, guests are treated to good, old fashioned Caribbean accommodation and cooking. Each of our ten (10) main upmarket guest rooms is spacious, tastefully furnished, with a private balcony from which one can enjoy a delightful view of the rainforest and the birds. Each room comes with ensuite bathroom with hot and cold water shower and tea and coffee making facilities.

The food and drinks which emerge from our kitchen are all prepared daily with fresh, often home-grown, indigenous produce and raw materials. Guests enjoy the unique dining experience of menus crafted from local raw materials combined with cooking expertise and creativity second to none. Breakfast menus comprise fresh juices, fresh fruit and cereal, followed by your own menu selection. Dinner menus are "table d'hote" and are crafted to reflect the unique, multi-ethnic reality of Trinidad and Tobago. Delicious light lunches are also served. Bread is whole wheat and homemade and water is from a spring located on the property. Guests often comment on its "golden" taste.

The dining area overlooks the forest and hummingbird feeders that afford guests close-up bird watching along with pleasurable dining. Guests are able to enjoy a spectacular and entertaining view of the many species of Hummingbirds that visit the property. Such pleasure is not confined to daytime dining since the White-tailed Nightjar is also a regular evening visitor, catching flying insects at the lights outside of the dining area.

Our guests frequently comment on the pleasant and personalized attention that they receive from staff in every aspect of the services offered.

Self-catering rooms are also available.

These rooms are two in number and share a well-equipped kitchen. Each comes with a queen-sized bed and private bathroom with hot and cold water. Just a stone's throw from the main lodge, guests staying here often lounge in the open area upstairs where dartboard and table tennis facilities are available. Dining in the main lodge is also possible if guests do not wish to prepare their own meals.
